This is the final copy of my double page spread. this refers to the main picture on the front cover as it is the main article of the magazine. i made no changes to this apart from moving the pictures and txt so it is easily visible to see.

This is my final copy of my contents page i have made relatively no changes to this apart from adding a few bits and bobs like email address refering to the magazines website.

This is my final front cover for my music magazine I made many changes to the front cover as it did not match my contents page or my double page spread. my front cover photo had no relevance to the double page spread so i had to change it. I didnt use to much information on the front cover as it could draw away attention to the main article that would be shown on the double page spread.

difficulties making the school prospectus

i come across many barriers making the school prospectus like trying to upload pictures and getting them in the correct positions and trying to crop them without taking to much or to little out that was uneccersery. another problem i came across was opening up new layers without also opening a new tab alltogether. with help from someone who knew how to use photoshop things got back on track and pieces began to fall together and eventually completed the school prospectus.

school prospect.

step 1. firstly i had to give it a background colour on the background layer.
step 2. then i had insert a new layer to add the top picture with the school name on and had to crop it down to a smaller size.
step 3. same procedure as step 2 but with the picture of the student. i had to crop most of the uneccesary parts of the picture.
step 4. inserted another new layer. i uploaded a picture that contained a teacher and its students. i did not have to crop this photo as i believe it would affect what the image would show.
step  5. for the writing i had to insert one finale layer and insert a text box. from there i changed the font, the colour and the design of the writing.
step 6. for this stage all i needed to do was merge all the layers together to produce the finale document the school prospectus.

Photoshop fail 2

tried to use photoshop for the nature magazine and got no where. i still dont know how use the software. definatly need some expert to help me

Photoshop fail

on wednesday the 25th i tried to learn how to use photoshop using a tutorial and aid by a teacher but could not get the hang of using it. but they always say practice makes perfect.

FIRST BLOG

on January 18th 2012 i created my blogspot for my media coursework and its progress. all i had to do was register up to this site and enter my details. my task is to design a magezine for a school or college.
